Graduate Programs Rank

Engineering graduate programs ranked among the country's best annual ranking of the quality of the study program by United States News and World Report, Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin on the 11th place within the nation between 199 accredited engineering schools that offer doctoral programs, and 5 between public institutions.

University of Texas at Austin graduated from engineering programs were rank in the Top 20: Air (8), chemical (8), biomedical (18) Computer (9), civil (4th), Environmental Protection (4) , electrical / electronics (12) Petroleum (1) and mechanical (10).

The college is based upon the evaluation results of entrance examinations, students, admissions, Faculty / student ratios, research expenditures, reputation among engineers in academia and industry, manufactures a PhD and the proportion of faculty elected to membership in the National Academy of Engineering.
